Pro Mente is a social entrepreneur for rehabilitation which is operating since 1964 in Upper Austria. Their goal is the participation and inclusion of psychologically impaired people in society, striving for equal access in all areas of life. The Pro Mente Shop is a labour market training space for vocational education in retail sales. It is located within the neighbourhood project Forum Oed where the focus lays on enhancement of local supplies in a suburban residential area. The design concept refers to marketstands which showase products such as handicrafts, local food and small gifts. Depending on the alternating range of products, the shelf design structures are flexibly adjustable.
