We are already surrounded by too much of everything. Everyone seems to be busy with consuming and producing. As a designer I find it hard to justify my excitement of creation since I am obviously in the midst of a societal, political and ecological problem. But since being a silent monk on a lonely island is not the solution either, I am deciding to add to the noise by designing platforms for socially and culturally meaningful content, instead of supporting profit-focussed companies and consumer brands.
