Producing art in a village means utilising art to open up new spaces

on the countryside by using local resources. Refections on art are steered into a new direction: art basically doesn't need to be imported,

it is already there. Between rural flight and the myth of the idyllic countryside, contemporary art making can shed light on what rural culture truly means, or what it could become. The publication is structured in three languages (German, English and Serbian).
